Sex and the City 2: New Looks

I couldn't resist to share the theatrical trailer of Sex and the City 2 which is supposed to hit the cinemas in May 2010. Like with all sequels, “SATC 2″ has certainly upped the action! But when it comes to Carrie and the girls, that doesn’t mean more explosions, it means crazier fashion and a trip to Abu Dhabi. And Camels! OK, so the plot is borderline ridiculous. But do we really care?  It's also not surprising that "The Empire State of Mind" by Alycia Keys and JayZ was chosen as a soundtrack to this movie.

Sex and the City 2 promises a jewel-encrusted extravaganza to rival this summer's catwalk-approved minimalism. Jewels are basically everywhere and it's no wonder, because Swarovski has partnered with "SATC 2" on jewelry and accessories. Carrie's closet is bedecked with a crystal chandelier, the characters wear crystal studded minaudieres and Kim Catrall and Miley Cyrus, who makes a cameo, stand in front of a Swarovski logo-ed "step and repeat" at an event that takes place in the movie.

Jules, I agree; and I may not have the biggest tv, but I am volunteering my house. I should be able to do it the first week in June after the in-laws leave...that should be right around the time we can get the dvd, no?

SATC Dolls event would be awesome! I still haven't heard whether SATC2 will be shown in China (they have foreign movies quota u know). I hope they will. It hits world cinemas on May 27th. So if we are lucky we can expect it by July. There is another option though (maybe even better). To get DVD and make a movie night in one of the cafes.

About Abu Dhabi it's actually funny. Both cities Abu Dhabi and Dubai didn't allow shooting of SATC2. I don't know where they shoot it at the end. But Abu Dhabi definitely gonna be famous destination after this film.

Elena, this is fab! It's the first I've heard of SATC2. It's become sort of an international affair thing for me; I watched part 1 in Paris a couple of years ago, and now part 2 in Shanghai! And it takes place in the next place on our list to visit; Abu Dhabi...how about we make it a Dolls event and go see it all together?
