Chu and Jack have excellent services for very reasonable prices! I visited about once every month and was never disappointed. They pay great attention to detail and are lovely to chat with. They even gave me a ride home once!

Hi all, I'm writing from Chu & Jack's new shop right across from Dapuqiao Exit 2. Jack is finishing up my Pedi and I had my first Brazilian in Shanghai with Chu. Usually, I only get my eyebrows waxed & pedicure done but as a surprise to the hubby for our 3 year anniversary I decided to brave it again. The last time was for our wedding night. I was nervous as my pain tolerance is low but Chu's professionalism & giving me some breathers made it all the more bearable. I like their new shop as it is easier to find, very near the metro & their prices have remained the same while their service just as good & reliable. Their separate room here is small & it feels more private than the loft before. I will highly recommend them to anyone. Their years of experience & genuine joy for their job speaks volumes! Their new address is 8 Dapu Lu, Huaihua Mall,2nd floor.

Great service. I'm quite pleased with my mani and pedi. After two weeks my pedi still looks good. I also had my eyebrows waxed, but unfortunately my left eyebrow was over-waxed, so it is now thinner and shorter than my right eyebrow. Otherwise I had a good experience.

After good reviews of American Style Nails & Spa I've checked them by myself and it was beyond expectations!I was a little desperate as I couldn't find a good brazilian wax treament and also just waxing lower leg treatment in Shanghai. I'm from Amsterdam and had there the best wax treatment done by a brazilian lady.So I'll guess I'm spoiled. But then I found Chu...She did a PERFECT job for the brazilian and the lowerleg. Now I'm born dark tanned and have black hair,so perfect waxing is a must! But no more worries after visiting Chu. And the prices are amazing. Also the manicure and pedicure are awesome! Don't expect a glamorous styled shop. The glamour is in the treatment it self! And for Chu and Jack.. they are the nicest couple I ever met in Shanghai. Even for a good peptalk, you can also go to them!!!!

I brought my girlfriend here for hair removal and manicures/pedicures and I have to say, from nails to waxing, Chu is an expert.
I was told that she has an American license for both fields and over 8 years of experience. Not only was her service quick and professional, it seemed relatively painless and left me with enough money to take my girl on a lavish date, which to my pleasure ended in a very memorable evening.
Definitely bringing her back again.
