Mrs. hanan

I have been to this place twice and in those two times i was not satisfied because what i paid is not worth the service i got. they made my eyebrows look totally different from each other and their only comment on this was next time we can fix it for you and i believed them and the results were worse than before. I don't advice you to try their place.

No re-growth since July damage
by lucipudong
on March 13, 2011
They have finally sent me a tube of clear mascara which is supposed to help my missing brow grow back. This is after I consulted lawyers and a dermatologist.

Of course what they should be doing is replacing the over-threaded brow area with tattooed hairs but they are too tight to do this, even though they admitted their fault almost 9m ago.

I am trying this product but am not optimistic...

Fake eyelashes
by Meredith
on December 25, 2010
I had false eyelashes done at Browhaus. It was relatively fast (took less than an hour) and the technician was very good. They looked fantastic! I was so pleased. However, even though I was very careful with them (didn't touch or get them wet at all--so careful!) they started to come unattached about 4 days after getting them put on and coming off. Well, they wouldn't exactly "come off," but they'd come unglued and then stick out in all sorts of directions, then sort of fall out in clumps. After about 10 days they were driving me insane and very patchy and since I wasn't in Shanghai I ended up pulling what was left of them all off myself (ouch!) along with a fair amount of my natural lashes, which were already pretty sparse to begin with! So, not good for me. They were so pretty, though; it's a pity they don't last longer. I really can't see myself going there every week to keep them maintain; guess I'm just not that kind of girl. However, I have no complaints with Browhaus' service--it was great.

My first few experiences were good but last time at Wulumuqi lu , the girl gave me very bad cuts while threading. Please pay attention when you are being threaded.

Update on my brow
by lucipudong
on October 19, 2010
3 months later it still hasn't grown back. They are not prepared to give me a Brow resurrection to repair the bald patch they have made, all they will offer is a pot of cream and one free threading session. Extremely unprofessional.

Never try brow resurrection
by Jaclyn
on August 16, 2010
tried their brow resurrection. And was forced to purchase too many bottles of aftercare products which I didn't need. When I wanted to refund them, they said it was not a company policy. I'm not sure if it's a scam. But if it is, it works. They are so forceful.

Will never go back again! I feel so ripped off! Further more, the work they did left me with uneven eyebrows. And their service attitude was way below expectations. Terrible terrible.

good eyebrow shaping but pass on eyelash
by kelly
on August 9, 2010
the positive side - the threading and shaping of the eyebrows was fantastic. my eyebrows looked awesome and she gave me good advice on how to maintain. the not so positive side - did the eyelash in bloom - looked ok for two days (i kept as dry as possible and no eye make-up..then the eyelashes began to fall out in quickly. I'm not sure why but they looked like they were attached in clumps so clumps fell out. By day 5, more than half on each eye had fallen out so I had to (painfully) remove the rest because it looked odd. I was disappointed to have them last only 1 week. I was told they would last about 2 weeks at the minimum. I decided not to return to do the 1 week maintanence because I didn't want to continue using them. I was bummed b/c they were great for the first night. I would go back for eyebrows though.

Maybe give new Browhaus branch a miss
by lucipudong
on August 1, 2010
I went to Wukang Lu this week for the first time (Xinle had been ok - 1 good visit, one bad - v slow threading then cotton pinched my eye socket which turned into a red scratch)

But nothing compared to the horror at the hand of Lily. Long story, but basically she threaded 3mm too far into my brow (away from nose) leaving me looking very odd and extremely peed off! It's so basic, the brow should always be in line with the bridge of the nose - no idea what she was thinking...plus she kept plucking which is not the proper way of threading. I've been seeing Indian girls for 6 years and they have never once used tweezers.

Browhaus only do such a small range of services I was so annoyed they couldn't even train their girls properly on the basics. Am going back once it grows and they promised me a free visit with their top expert threader, but why are they letting learners lose on clients?!
